Top Ten Eligible Celebrity Bachelor Babes

Attention all you lonely holiday guys: tired of spending the holidays alone? Well, fear not! We’re counting down Hollywood’s most eligible bachelorettes for you so grab some self-esteem, dust off your platinum card and get in the game!
Taylor Swift – If you’re a little younger, Taylor might be right up your alley (we’re not advocating dirty old men pick up on an 18 year old.) This gorgeous starlet has had an interesting year, having been dumped by Joe Jonas via a 27 second phone call earlier this year but with a number one album on the charts and looking better than ever.
Drew Barrymore – this cougar-in-training is a famous bohemian spirit. Already married twice, she has a thing for artist types and actors, having ended a five year relationship with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti last year and ended an 11-month relationship with actor Justin Longearlier this year. She’s recently seen practicing her cougar skills on Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick. If you’re a hot younger actor or a musician type, you might have a shot at Drew.
Madonna – this recent divorcee has a thing for Latin men, having sparked a relationship with A-Rod prior to her divorce and recently been seen canoodling with a Brazilian model. If you think you can hang, have your own thing going, be ready to be managed like an employee and for goodness sakes man, hit the gym. She works out four hours a day and does three hour concerts. You might be able to keep up.

Britney Spears – After quite a troubling couple of years, Britney’s back on top with a top selling album, highly anticipated tour and that legendary body back in shape. Britney’s been divorced from Kevin Federline for a while and hasn’t exactly shown the best taste in men, but we’re rooting for Brit-Brit to find a nice guy. She appears to like creative types who aren’t in awe of her fame, so try not to act like a fan and try to get her to laugh.

Liv Tyler – This classically beautiful actress is divorced from rocker Royston Langdon and is quietly single. The daughter of model Bebe Buell and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, she grew up between rockers and models so it’s probably best to avoid concerts or bars unless you happen to be performing there. Remember that she has a son by her first marriage so you must like kids.

Lauren Conrad – Although there are rumors that Lauren is dating someone, we still think you might have a shot. You should dislike being on camera and be prepared to bring your silly side, as Lauren reportedly has a great sense of humor. Possess a great sense of style and a good sense of humor and you might be headed for The Hills.Alyssa Milano – This eternal bachelorette plays in and out of the Hollywood game, but the key to her heart is sports. This talented actress recently released a highly successful line of sport clothing for women called Touch, so if you don’t closely follow one of the major three sports (football, basketball or baseball), you might regret approaching her. An ex of Justin Timberlake among others, she likes fun guys who are sure of themselves and are funny.

Ashley Tisdale – This High School Musical star is over the age of consent, so don’t worry about robbing the cradle. This 23 year-old actress and singer is a star on the rise and as she told Maxim, she’s not afraid to be a little aggressive with men. Grab your guts, look your best and say yes if she asks you out.

Kate Hudson – As we recently reported, Kate is new to the dating game after three long-term relationships. The mother of son Ryder from her marriage to rocker Chris Robinson, this free spirit (and best friend of Liv Tyler) is wide open to the possibilities of men so show up, have the guts to ask her out and enjoy. Just don’t bore her or you’ll never see her again.

Christina Applegate – A recent breast cancer survivor, this gorgeous star of Samantha Who has an amazing sense of humor and a great spirit. Divorced from ex-husband Jonathan Schaeck, Christina is the actress who dances, sings and knows comedy inside and out. Make her laugh and appeal to her lighter side and you might have a shot with Kelly Bundy!

`Titanic' duo DiCaprio and Winslet sail again in "Revolutionary Road"

`Titanic' duo DiCaprio and Winslet sail again in "Revolutionary Road"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — That pesky iceberg kept Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet from growing into an old married couple in "Titanic."

They finally get to test-drive a long-term relationship in "Revolutionary Road," and the two close friends really nail the whole love-and-marriage thing.

Lies. Distrust. Infidelity. Titanic shouting matches to rival George and Martha's in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

After playing new lovers in a doomed romance aboard "Titanic," DiCaprio and Winslet had a great time tearing into each other as spouses in a sinking relationship in "Revolutionary Road."

"We very much took advantage of our friendship and our relationship for this film," DiCaprio said in an interview alongside Winslet. "When I read the script, I thought, look at these scenes, and I'm imagining Kate doing it with me and being able to push each other as much as we possibly could.

"That gave me immediately a desire to say, `OK, I can't wait for these sequences to start. I'm really going to give it to her, she's really going to give it to me.' And I know the fact that she's such a good friend of mine, we know each other so well, we know that we could push those boundaries, because we intrinsically know we have the best intentions for each other. So there's no weird, hidden ego. There's no hidden anything. It's two people just trying to do their best and just pushing each other."

"Revolutionary Road" casts DiCaprio, 34, and Winslet, 33, as Frank and April Wheeler, a couple suffocating amid the blandness of 1950s American suburbia who hope to resurrect their crumbling marriage by moving to Paris with their children.

Directed by Winslet's husband, Sam Mendes, "Revolutionary Road" calls on the actors to quarrel savagely right from the film's opening moments.

It was an interesting challenge for Winslet and DiCaprio, who became close chums on the arduous "Titanic" shoot and cannot recall ever raising their voices to each other.

"People would say, `Oh my gosh, you guys are such good friends. Did you ever, like, fight?' And we really would have to stop and think about it and realize that we hadn't," Winslet said.

After 1997's "Titanic," the biggest modern blockbuster with $1.8 billion at the box office worldwide, Winslet and DiCaprio knew they had to choose carefully if they were going to pair off again on-screen.

"We couldn't not realize that the elephant in the room was that we had done this film `Titanic,' which happened to be the most successful movie of all time," DiCaprio said. "To try to recreate anything close to that would be a mistake. It's important for me and for both of us to not make it look like we want to become sort of a couple that revisits things."

In a haughty British accent, he jokingly added: "Well, they enjoyed that first performance, let's give it to them one more time, darling. Just like the old days."

Although both felt it was just a matter of time before they teamed up again, it took 11 years before they were back on-set together.

"As the years were going by, the idea of working together again, I was craving it more and more," Winslet said. "Very selfishly, I felt it has to be the right thing, because I want to be on the set with him every day. I want to spend as much time with him as possible. It wasn't about equal roles, even. It was, I want to bleed that experience dry. I really do, because I know what's there to be had, and anything less than that wouldn't have seemed as special."

For all the rewards "Titanic" brought, Winslet got an Oscar nomination, DiCaprio didn't. They hope "Revolutionary Road" might change that.

DiCaprio said he liked the idea of both scoring Oscar nominations this time because "I'd just like to hang out with her."

"I feel the same way," Winslet said. "I feel I couldn't have played April without Leo. I absolutely couldn't have done it. So it would feel extremely strange if I was there without him. It just wouldn't make sense somehow."

Winslet has five past Oscar nominations; DiCaprio has been nominated three times.

Winslet bluntly acknowledges that she wants an Oscar.

"I can't deny it would mean a huge deal. Whether that's going to happen ever in my life, of course, remains to be seen," said Winslet, who also shrugs off the prospect of becoming the all-time also-ran among actresses at the Oscars.

"I'm a very good loser. I've actually got it down, I think. I have a formula I could sell," Winslet said. "I'm 33 years old, for God's sake. I've been there five times before. It's been incredible every single time, and I'm nothing other than just genuinely amazed and truly, truly grateful to have had those moments in my life."

DiCaprio wants more for his co-star, though, answering candidly about whether Winslet should take home an Oscar.

"Absolutely," DiCaprio said. "Long overdue."

"Ditto," Winslet said of DiCaprio. "Dit-to."

Eliza Dushku on Dollhouse, Playing Crazy, and Pasties

Eliza Dushku has a piercing laugh that explodes in unadulterated burst. It's in no small part that sense of ineffable genuineness that helped make her character, Faith Lehane, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, a fan favorite. Dushku will be back on the small screen in short order; she's paired up with her Buffy boss Joss Whedon for the lead role in the sci-fi series Dollhouse, set to bow as a mid-season replacement on Fox in February. In the meantime, in Randall Miller's genre knuckleball Nobel Son, Dushku plays the fetchingly named City Hall, an artistically inclined gal who spells trouble for Bryan Greenberg's Ph.D. student after he becomes involved in a thorny kidnapping plot in the wake of his father's receiving the Nobel Prize. Just in advance of the ensemble film's release, Dushku spoke with Vulture about working with Joss Whedon and what she's willing to do to land a part.

Your character in Nobel Son is obviously troubled, but for a long time, we can't put our finger on why. What did you draw upon to capture that angsty energy?
Well, maybe somewhere deep down I'm troubled because it didn't feel like I was stretching that much. [Laughs] I gave it all up to the direction from Randy. I wanted this part so badly, and I auditioned my heart out for it. I brought props to the audition. I showed up and said, “I'll do anything you want me to in this room right now.”

What kind of props?

In the movie we have those crazy masks, so I brought two masks — one was an African mask from Cameroon that my mother had given me, and the other was this weird, tin, abstract one from Venice Beach. I had them in a paper bag with a couple other things — rope, a knife, all sorts of things.

A knife?

Hey, I was like, “I'll do whatever you want me to do.”

There's a line in the movie: "Crazy is a choice." Is something like that a key to your character?

Absolutely. I always loved hearing Anthony Hopkins talk about playing his character so well in The Silence of the Lambs. He said, "I acted like what I thought someone crazy would act." So you can come up with these profound descriptions or processes, but sometimes you also just read it and try to put yourself in that situation and just kind of become it.

There are some intimate moments in the film. Was shooting them a giggle-fest?

Absolutely. Bryan Greenberg and I have known each other since I was 14; he and my brother Nate went to NYU together, and I used to hang out in their dorm room. We shot on a rooftop in downtown L.A. Bryan was in a sock, I was in pasties, and we were rolling around in fiberglass for six hours. But Bryan's hot, so it was fun. It wasn't all that tough work.

Bryan's character seems plagued by occupational ambivalence and uncertainty. Did you ever question sticking with acting?

I did have to think long and hard about if because I never wanted to be an actress. My mother is a college professor and said, "Thank you very much, but a screen test in L.A. isn't really the kind of life I want for my daughter." She never pushed it. But then I hit a point when I was 17, when I graduated high school, I was enrolled at university, I had my dorm room and was all ready to begin my life normally after seven years of playing De Niro's and Schwarzenegger's daughters, all these random roles. And I got called out to do Buffy and wanted to make some money for tuition and a choice was there: "Okay, am I going to go try to figure out what I want to do when I really grow up or do this thing that landed in my lap?" Now I'm 27, and I just started a production company, so I guess I've made some choices that I didn't originally expect.

What about Dollhouse, which starts in February?
It's really exciting, I love it. Joss Whedon is my friend and my hero, and we came up with this show together. I'm an executive producer on it, and it's really a he-and-I team love project. We're on episode seven out of thirteen, and I've already played twentysomething different characters, because I play different characters every week since we're imprinted with these disparate personalities. And I ride motorcycles and bow-hunt and river-raft and do all these crazy things every week — it's just awesome.

How much do you get to train for those crazy things?

Maybe an hour. [Laughs] It's like the day before, Joss will say, "I'm going to throw you off a roof," and I say, "Cool, let's do it!"

Kate Beckinsale shocked by mum's nudity

Kate Beckinsale shocked by mum's nudity
English actress Kate Beckinsale has vowed to keep her clothes on in movies because she remembers how terrible she felt as a child when her mother bared all onscreen.

Kate Beckinsale was intimidated by Robert De Niro - because she used to have a crush on him.

The British actress appears in 'Everybody's Fine' with the 'Righteous Kill' star and says she struggled to retain her composure because she was such a fan of the acting legend, she used to keep his photograph in her kitchen.

She admitted: "I was kind of intimidated, because I had a picture of him on my fridge at university, so I was a bit shifty about that.

"You sort of feel like you have to confess that to somebody. There's sort of a slightly creepy thing to it."

Kate - who has a nine-year-old child, Lily, with ex-partner Michael Sheen - also revealed she hopes to work on stage, but admits it isn't likely to be in the near future.

She added to website Moviehole: "I would like to return to the theatre, and I will. But I probably won't until my daughter becomes more indifferent about me being the one to put her to bed."

Latest Bollywood Gossip: Hrithik & Suzanne Heading Towards Splitsville?

Hrithik-Suzanne
Nothing is working fine between Bollywood’s cute couple Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan, as the latter has allegedly walked out of her marriage along with her two kids to her parents house in Juhu. The reason behind the rough patch is, Hrithik’s alleged affair with his Kites firangi co-star Barbara Mori.

A source says, “Hrithik and Susanne have been having problems for a while now. Initially, everyone thought that Barbara was just another phase in his life. Nobody expected Hrithik to get so serious about her. Susanne has been trying to come to terms with it. But when nothing worked, even her parents supported Susanne in her decision to leave him.”

“The couple hasn’t been making public appearances together for months, including at awards functions. However, when the talk of trouble in their marriage began getting louder, they made an appearance together at Amrita Arora’s wedding, but their body language spoke volumes. Last week, they even made an appearance at Manish Malhotra’s fashion show but something went wrong after that.” Parents of Suzanne have supported her in her decision, “Both Sanjay and Zarine Khan have given her the emotional strength to take the right call. All they want for their daughter is her happiness.”

However Hrithik’s family is keen to make things work again for the couple, “They are hoping to find a solution to the problem once Hrithik is back in town. Something major must have happened between the couple in the last three days because Susanne walked out of the house when Hrithik was away.” Hrithik denied the split news, saying, “It is too funny!! Yes Sussanne shifted to her parents’ place with the kids 2 days ago and I was to join her on my return as there is a white ant treatment going on in my house and a section of my floor is being renovated. I’m with Sussanne right now having a picnic with my kids and in-laws!!”
