Hansika Motwani is a known name in the Indian film industry and the small screen. Hansika Motwani was to start her film career in a film named ‘Yahoo’ which starred Govinda and Juhi Chawla. Juhi Chawla actually recommended her to the director, as she was impressed with her acting capabilities. But unfortunately the film delayed and finally could not be made. But it was Juhi Chawla again who helped Hansika Motwani to get her ad of Hyundai Santro with the superstar Shahrukh Khan. After the commercial, Hansika Motwani was a star. She was loaded with offers for commercials. She did number of TV commercials for Pepsi, Samsung Electronics and Bournvita. One of the most noted offers that came for Hansika Motwani was for the film ‘Koi.. Mil Gaya’ that starred Hritik Roshan and Priety Zinta. The film was a smash hit.

Hansika Motwani is now moving to be a heroine. She has done a role in Puri Jagannadh's Telegu film. The film is named as Desamuduru in which she is paired opposite Allu Arjun. Hansika Motwani plays a sannyasi in the film. She is also doing a Hindi film called ‘He’, which is still under production. Hansika Motwani is all set to debut as a heroine in Himesh Reshammiya’s film ‘ Aap ka Saroor- The Real Love Story’
